Purcell, OK, September 1, 2024 –University of Oklahoma Wide Receiver Deion Burks announced on Thursday, August 29th he would be donating fifty dollars per catch to Rob’s Ranch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.
These businesses and individuals have also pledged to match the donations made by Burks at fifty dollars per catch:
In his post on social media Burks said “I can’t thank these sponsors enough for their amazing support”. He went on to say “I am very excited to be a part of this program, making these donations and using my platform to bring awareness to this amazing charitable cause “.

Rob’s Ranch has been dedicated to helping Oklahomans struggling with substance abuse since 2010.
Since its start, Rob’s Ranch has served more than 3-thousand clients.
Our program was founded by Dick Liddell who lost his son Robbie in 2003.
We offer 90-day and 30-day inpatient treatment programs for men in Purcell and Sayre.
Our 90-day treatment program serves more than 160 clients a year and our 30-day location in Sayre serves nearly 300 clients annually.
In 2023, we opened an outpatient clinic in Edmond, OK that serves both men and women.
We have an 84-percent success rate with our clients who complete our continuum of care.
